Tip Request for Fardeen Haque for Awesome Dot

Hello,

This is a tip request for Fardeen Haque for his work for the Awesome Dot GitHub repository and website.

Tip request is 35.5 DOT, roughly $250 at EMA7 ($7.046), a symbolic thank you for his efforts. He was very quick to respond to my requests for fixes and format improvements on the GitHub repository, and I would personally like to see this effort grow into a more sophisticated knowledge and resource base.

Best regards,
kukabi | Helikon

PS 1. I'm not voting due to my DV delegation.

PS 2. Beneficiary's Element username is @fardeen_haque:matrix.org.

PS 3. ❗ This tip's purpose is by no means to compensate Fardeen's work, it's obvious that it cannot, and it purposefully does not. Due to my delegation, I cannot be in a position to gauge the effort for the work done and assign a precise value to it. Like I stated above, it is just a symbolic thank you, and an invitation to continue the work. Following proposals, if any, should be carried out by the beneficiary.

A big Aye from me. Since the transfer of this repo. Fardeen has done a good job. He added images to every section, updated the repository on daily basis and he is giving quick response to every queries and a lot of good improvement. The amount of the tip is small but we appreciate the gesture of Helikon for recognising the work. Keep working on this repo brother.

ChaosDAO would like to provide the following feedback from our community. We offer this feedback voluntarily in the spirit of OpenGov, in order to help teams improve their proposals so we can all build the network together.

  1. Some members pointed out that the poposed recipient is behind DescribeDOT and expressed disapproval of that project's performance and OpenGov track record. Members pointed out that DescribeDOT received a lot of funding, didn't meet deadlines, didn't communicate delays, didn't scale/grow, and made content that was already obsolete and/or off-message (eg. pushing polkadot.js when the ecosystem had already decided to funnel users to more user-friendly options)

  2. Some members pointed out that the request is quite modest

ChaosDAO votes as a collective based on the results of our anonymous internal voting procedures. Our members are not required to provide any feedback about why they have voted in a particular direction. Similarly, to respect our members' right to anonymity, we will not be sharing names of individuals who have chosen to voluntarily provide feedback.

@ChaosDAO

Apologies for the late response. I am not a member of Describedot or anything. I have been an individual participant in the ecosystem for the last two years.
