Greetings,
I really know this world, and I don't believe it would bring any real benefit to Polkadot. I disagree that we should pay for absolutely everything.
I do agree that they should receive some help from us, and for example, we could create the POLKADOT KART RACING TEAM, and the treasury could pay for the kart and the new personalized equipment. But the hotel stays, travel expenses, coaching, and everything else? I think it's too much, it's not right. On the other hand, correct me if I'm wrong, is it MICRO MAX (ROTAX), right? I don't think they need a spare engine since it will be maintained, and even less a spare chassis, considering the type of circuits they race on and the power. In case of any crash or something, they can just realign the chassis and it will be fine.
Imagine if every parent in this community asked for money for their child to become a pilot or to cover their tennis career, it's too much in my opinion. They won't be racing in SKUSA where races have a bit more impact and drivers from all over the world participate…
Please, collaborate with this community, and don't ask for the treasury to pay for absolutely all costs. I would be happy to vote yes.

@Nachito Agent#14 Thanks for your feedback, Appreciate it. In regards to the spare engine and chasis that's for race weekends, As you may know getting damage and repairing a chasis on race weekend is not possible, you would be effectively throwing an entire race weekend away not have a spare chasis at hand. As With the engine, As you may also know using the same engine for practise and race will only serve to limit its potential on race weekend as the more an engine gets used the less performance you will get, might not be alot but it might be enough to get a race win or podium. As you have rightly pointed out karting is expensive, This is on the lower end of cost, Usually 15-20k will do for the season( depending on series) but that only covers about 10 races. This proposal covers more than 50-60 races(20 i've already paid for) so the treasury will Not be paying for everything.
This proposal is extremely one sided.
I'm really struggling to see what benefit DOT holders get at all from this, you do not have a media following either. Whilst you are recieving $60,000 USD. to fund a crazily expensive hobby for the foreseeable future?

@adamdog The initial cost for set up will always will be more, once everything is paid for the ongoing expenses will be low. Please also bear in mind that this proposal covers 50+ races for this year where most owner drivers pay 15-20k to compete in only 8-10 races.
