Tip Request for Livestream Pilot "LIVE HACKS" by Sacha Lansky - Referendum #1847
Over the months of September and October 2025, I led a livestreaming initiative alongside Distractive and WebZero geared to showcase the work of existing builders in the ecosystem and offer tips for new builders curious about building on Polkadot. All the content was curated around sharing tips for creating MVPs on the Polkadot Hub. The content was streamed on Polkadot's X and Youtube accounts, with a marketing focus on X. I am requesting a tip to remunerate me for the hours I spent conceptualizing and delivering the series. The passing of this tip will also be a signal as to whether these initiatives are valuable for the ecosystem and if so, I will consider devising a long-term plan on continuing them with the help of additional support.

Proposal Failed
While the report includes impressions and view metrics, it does not demonstrate measurable ecosystem impact such as new developers onboarded, projects launched, or sustained engagement outcomes. Visibility alone is not sufficient justification for retroactive Treasury funding
@4bksm Thank you for your comments, it helps clarify what this work is, and is not about. Regular streaming is not an activity whereby the goal is to monitor direct conversions, for eg. "the person who joined the stream and learnt about ZK app building went off to launch a project as a result of the stream". Rather, its to say that thanks to this content, the likelihood for anyone to want to build on Polkadot is higher. Therefore the metrics we measure is impressions and engagement during the stream. Conversion metrics are also measurable via other means but the main purpose is to cast a wide net and to keep new and existing audiences engaged.
The Treasury will no longer support marketing; don't propose such initiatives.
