Tip for participation in an Institutional Conference
Hello community,
On this occasion, I would like to present a tribute to AG and me for our work as Polkadot ambassadors during the activities held from Monday 9th to Friday 13th June in Caracas.
As you can see on Space4Build's social media, I participated as a speaker at the Institutional Conference "New Web3 Business Models" organized by the Venezuelan Banking Association. For four days, this event brought together representatives from the financial system, academia, auditing firms, real-estate companies, regulatory authorities, radio and television media, and technology providers.
This event allowed us to showcase Polkadot technology to the country's entrepreneurs, executives, and legislators in a way that had never been done before. During the four days of the institutional conference, we answered questions from participants and made the necessary contacts to advance each organization's projects.
During the four days of activities, attendance averaged 150, reaching a peak of 170 on the last day, which was my presentation. The main features of the technology available in Polkadot and its ecosystem were presented to this audience.
I would like to mention that although the activity was private and had a ticket fee, we did not receive any compensation for our participation.
Additionally, we held a private meeting with the Director of the United Nations Development Programme (PUND, https://x.com/pnud) in Venezuela and the business partnership manager, who expressed interest in incorporating Polkadot technology into the sustainable development projects they are carrying out. As an additional note, during our stay in Caracas, we also held a meetup with several biker communities, mostly entrepreneurs who also want to use the technology in their activities to make their activities more transparent. This specific meetup will be presented to the meetup bounty in the coming days. Reference4: https://x.com/space4build/status/1935380151816307048?s=46&t=xZwu9y0l8ACyMwWB7pH3Rg
In closing, I would like to add that neither AG nor I are part of any ecosystem organization or treasury, and as ambassadors, we have not received sponsorship or PIF for these activities.
We kindly request 250 DOTs each for our time.
Best regards,
Saimon (https://x.com/simonxpe)

Que gran iniciativa, ojalá pueda hacerse realidad, sería una gran oportunidad para llevar esta tecnología a otros lugares de américa. Gracias por pensar en Venezuela
Hi guys, I sincerely want to congratulate you on the intense and valuable work you've done in Venezuela. You've successfully connected the Polkadot community with key institutions in the country, bringing them closer to emerging technologies in a concrete and meaningful way.
It's clear that these were high-level conferences, and they had a real impact, especially with the support of national media coverage. Venezuela is undoubtedly a key country in the adoption of emerging technologies, particularly given the nature of its economy, which drives many to seek alternatives like Polkadot to move their ideas and projects forward.
It's especially noteworthy that the representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Venezuela, along with the commercial partnerships manager, have expressed interest in exploring the integration of Polkadot technology. This shows that the work you're doing is reaching the right places.
With this message, I want to express my full support for the team. What you've accomplished so far is incredibly valuable, and I’m confident that what lies ahead will be even more impactful for the growth of Polkadot in the region.
Sending you a warm hug. Amazing work—keep it up!
