Notifi - Communication & Notification Tooling for Polkadot's Broader Ecosystem V2 Proposal

Summary:
Notifi Network (https://notifi.network) is a cross-chain communication and messaging infrastructure designed specifically for web3 builders. Notifi’s platform offers the devtools designed for web3 projects to start sending near real-time alerts to end users. This allows web3 developers and marketers to create highly custom messages, enabling web3 teams to identify who to message and how the message is delivered. We are proposing a grant from the Polkadot Treasury that can cover the full cost of providing our services to both the Polkadot relay chain itself and its core ecosystem parachains. We believe that our platform can facilitate the increase in adoption of the Polkadot-native platforms by new and existing users in web3.
Problem Statement
Notifi is Solving Building notifications and alerts within web3 is a key pain point for all B2C platforms given the decentralized nature of user onboarding experience via wallets. As soon as end users onboard onto web3 dApps, the connection between the business and the consumer are immediately disintermediated, where the web3 project is not able to contact the users directly to provide useful information. We’re solving problems for two key groups of users: 1) web3 users, and 2) web3 builders and communities.
Offering
Notifi's Solution Notifi’s platform bridges the communication gap between web3 projects and its communities by providing the dev toolkit and infrastructure designed specifically for web. Notifi’s solution is a highly customizable, white-labelled communication platform that can be embedded natively into web3 dApps. Additionally, we’re able to monitor and parse smart contract events at a very granular level, enabling custom notifications, including loan health, governance proposals and staking alerts that are unique to parachains / dApps, while also doing it at scale. Improved notifications and communications to end users ultimately drives user activation, engagement, and retention, which is crucial for the broader Polkadot ecosystem to continue growing and remain competitive.
Over the last several months, we worked closely with Parity to engage with the core Polkadot ecosystem parachains and wallets, and we received tremendous interest from the broader community to provide our notification services to power dApps and parachains. 16 parachains, wallets and ecosystem partners have confirmed their need for Notifi’s services and committed support for Notifi’s grant proposal.
We hope to work closely with the Polkadot community at large to receive feedback on our proposal. We also appreciate that the Polkadot ecosystem is a truly community-driven ecosystem and welcome and invite feedback from the community to let us know which parachains should be included in the first batch.

Hey all, we're back with a Version 2 of our proposal. Here's what's new following community input and discussion with ecosystem.
Update from Proposal v1 submitted in June 2023:
Following feedback from the community and collaboration with partners, we’ve made some revisions to our initial proposal submitted last June. We’ve adjusted scope to reduce the cost to support each parachain and we’ve clearly defined the specific parachains and wallets we’ll deploy with in this first proposal, which will be our initial entry into the ecosystem. Additionally, the parachains and wallets will take on some of the financial cost to integrate Notifi and roll out our services across their respective communities. The Polkadot Treasury will cover 80% of costs, with the parachains and wallets taking on the remaining 20%.

This is Dakota, founder of the InvArch Network, and I would like to urge the Polkadot community to support this proposal. The Notifi team has been involved n communication with parachain teams for months now, and I can attest to their dedication. The services that they seek to provide for the ecosystem will play a key role in providing applications & services at the forefront of UX, and will allow for features such as notifications for pending Multisig proposals, asset deposits, and even reminders to claim rewards, among many other implementations. The Polkadot ecosystem is in crucial need of killer apps, and notification features that the Notifi team are seeking to provide will only help ensure that such apps have the tooling needed to provide the best UX possible. The potential output from this proposal far exceeds to requested input. I hope others will agree with my case & and vote accordingly!
