Big AYE in my book!
Although I am only speaking for myself here (not Lucky Friday), I would love to see Conor Daly appear in Polkadot gear for another season in 2025. While I would have preferred to sponsor a full season, I realize that the broader community did not have the appetite for it at the time.
However, considering this is a scaled down ask coming in at $3M (only 900K more than last year's $2.1M spend) and offers some of the premier races in Indy Car (e.g. St. Pete Grand Prix, Indy 500, etc), I believe this could be an incredible opportunity to elevate the Polkadot brand here in the US right as the winds of change are blowing in our direction.
Moreover, as someone who lives right across the bay in Tampa, I'd be keen to help organize the St. Pete event should this ref come to pass. It would be great to reach out to Cathie Wood and the Ark Invest team to help them understand the promise of Polkadot for enterprise solutions (their new office is in St. Petersberg).
I hope that other DOT token holders will seriously consider supporting this ref, especially in light of the fact that it will be split with only half coming in DOT (less impact on the treasury) and half in stables.
analyzing the various requests, including the one that was approved, I can only say that the cost of your proposals is as volatile as a memecoin. sorry...
And I am still waiting for the report from the Games Bounty about that sponsorship....
