The Astar team would like to initiate a public discussion regarding the future of the SwankyHub!

Over the past year, our dedicated team has diligently worked on the Swanky project, making significant strides in its development. We have successfully designed and implemented various essential features during this time, enabling a more user-friendly and efficient environment for ink! (Rust) smart contract development within the Polkadot ecosystem. But it’s time to make it not just "developed by the Astar team", but also to be a community-led project! The roadmap should be decided by the people who use it frequently! This is why we decided to collaborate with other ink! pioneers to take the first steps in this direction and create a joint roadmap for development over the next 6 months.

To ensure transparency and accountability, we propose a task-based approach to funding. Our roadmap clearly outlines each stage of SwankyHub's development, with defined objectives and deliverables. Funding will be released upon the successful completion of each task, demonstrating tangible progress and value to the Polkadot community.

We are honored to have the support of notable projects such as Aleph Zero and Phala Network for our SwankyHub proposal. The backing of these respected organizations strengthens our proposal and highlights the value and potential impact of Swanky within the Polkadot ecosystem.
